First set of cards for April!

Hey all,

It's been a long time I have made any card or posted anything here because of my busy schedules :(

For this month, I have made two easy to do cards and yes with my favourite yellow colors. Without much wasting time, here I go with the cards and the making processes...

For the first card I went for distressing with two inks and blended it together...

then, I added some drops of water for the magical effect to create on its own ( thats the best advantage working with distress inks!)

Added some glitter cut out dies and I did some fussy cut with small birds. The sentiment is from Jane's Doodles Rain or shine set and the mini hearts too! take a look
For the second card, I went for the yellow color again , yes it looked repetitive but I could resist doing one card in yellow! :D For the second one I made a shaded effect with Versafine Yellow color pigment ink and stamped the mini hearts from Jane's Doodles rain or shine stamp set and embossed it with gold. And I made a tag separately and added to the card using a handmade paper, vellum on which I have drawn those cute birds, some gliiter and tissue ribbon...

Added the sentiment from Avery Elle's Lots of love stamp set and bordered it with glitter strips.
And the closer look of the tag-

And the final set of cards.
